 Peggie and Deuce enjoy a day of play!
Julie's originally from Indiana but grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has also lived in Chicago from where her hubby, Roger, hails. They live in Alexandria and are active in their church, where Julie serves as a lector and teaches English as a Second Language to Hispanic students. Her interests include writing, reading, travel, sailing (as in garage and estate sale-ing!) and hiking with her beloved Bennie, a Weimaraner/Lab mix. (Her beasty Tabby cat, Scamper, was too busy snoozing to have her picture taken...). Julie's previous pet connections include volunteering in a kennel and for adoption agencies.
Karen is an animal lover of all species! Dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses, and cows you name it! She grew up with animals her entire life, living with at one time 4 dogs, 8 cats, 2 lizards, a tank of fish and even a rabbit at the same time. Apparently they couldn't resist rescuing and fostering homeless animals in need of a place to have a little TLC! While attending college and helping with her mother's farm in Alabama, she was put to the task of medicating goats, horses and baby cows (rescued orphans), as well as helping with birthing livestock. Her background is in the medical field as well as QMA. She lives in Alexandria now with her soon to be husband; fiesty, loving dachshund mix Winnie; sweet and calm basset mix Rocco; and born opera singer (following in their human mother's footsteps) parakeets, Tiki and Sansa.

Anne has been part of our team for quite some time. She and Peggie met when they conspired to "rescue" a "free-range" dog from the vicinity of St. Elmo's. She's a true sensitive when it comes to the needs of humans and animals and has a truly special touch with our feline friends!
Musician and actor, Kathleen, came to our team on the recommendation of her sister a Peggie's Pet Services client. When Kathleen graduated, she joined our team as a midday walker, overnight caregiver and petsitter. As she builds her private music teaching practice, we're glad to have her on board.
Former Cheesetique-er, Annyce, has joined our team as she builds her massage practice. A native New Yorker, she's eager to expand the number of animals in her life by spending time with yours!
A big thank you to our summer sitters, Kathleen W, Lauren and Joy. We're delighted to provide contracts to collegians home for the summer who aren't afraid of a little hard work and hot weather!
