I got tired of being a road-warrior when I got tired of imposing on my friends and neighbors to care for my pets, Kiera (that's her in the picture) and Emma - my ornery kitty. And when I discovered that my then significant other was bringing his new girlfriend along to care for my pets - I knew there had to be a better way!
I heard about professional pet-sitters, but wasn't sure how I felt about letting a stranger into my home to care for my "kids"! Additionally, I wanted a guarantee that my pets would be the highest priority -- not just one on a list of pets to be watered and fed. In short, I was looking for someone who understood that my relationship with my pets was not the same as everyone else's.
I created a company that was as unique as my relationship with my pets. Since 2003, Peggie's Pet Services, LLC has grown with my vision of a passionate brand of pet-care. Our service is predicated on the principles that:

One of the keys to our success is that we love PEOPLE as much as pets. My philosophy is that fun, loving, and engaging people make wonderful pet caregivers. I've never met a pet-care business owner that didn't like animals -- but sadly, I've met some that are less comfortable with humans. People are at the forefront of my business -- from the passionate, educated, outgoing and fun consultants who work with us, to the vivacious, hard-working, warm and loving pet owners! Happy, smart and passionate people make for happy, engaged and loving pets!
