Who Should Buy Chuckit! Ultra Ball?
Good fit
Choose the Ultra Ball if your dog enjoys active games of fetch and you want a rubber ball that can move between land and water play.
Its buoyant build and high-bounce design make it a flexible option for owners who vary their fetch routine.
A good fit for breeds weighing 20–60 lbs, especially if you already use a medium Chuckit! launcher. Choose a size that your dog can carry but cannot fit completely in its mouth.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you need a toy for chewing or have an aggressive chewer; this ball is intended for fetch and no toy is truly indestructible.
Look for a different size if your dog is outside the medium range, and follow the mouth-fit guidance before play.
Chuckit! Ultra Ball: Built for Bouncy Fetch
A lively fetch profile
The Ultra Ball’s combination of high bounce, durable rubber and a textured surface is aimed at interactive games where the dog chases and retrieves.
That makes it a more natural fit for throwing sessions than leaving a toy out for chewing.
Water-friendly play
Buoyancy is a useful addition for dogs that retrieve around water, while the same ball remains suited to land play.
It expands where fetch can happen, though owners should still supervise play and use a size that cannot fit completely in the dog’s mouth.
Choose size before play
The medium version measures 2.5 inches and is intended for dogs weighing 20–60 pounds.
Weight is only part of the decision: check how the ball sits in your dog’s mouth and size up when uncertain, as the product guidance recommends.
Keep it focused on fetch
The thick core is built for rugged fetch play, but the ball is not indestructible and is not intended for chewing or aggressive chewers.
Owners looking for a chew outlet should choose a toy designed for that purpose instead.
